iPad 3 release “extravaganza” at Lenox Mall – Atlanta, GA
Oh brother, what happened to the days when people would lineup around the corner to get their hands on the latest iPad? I showed up this morning at the Apple Store in Lenox Mall and was greeted by 4 cops, a full table of bagels, and more Apple employees than customers. I was confused, thinking that I would show up to document the outright madness that a new Apple product brings. I asked the manager where everyone was and he replied:
“Only like, twenty people showed up. We have the new iPad in stock if you want to buy one.”
Surely you can attribute the lack of frenzy to people ordering the iPad online and having it shipped but still…….
